I had one problem: Gerald starts out talking about an incident that happened in 1983 that changed the Coast Guard. Then Chapter 1 jumps ahead. Chapter 2 comes back to the 1983 incident. I wasn't paying attention to the dates as closely as I should have so I got confused.
