It wasn't clear how he selected the periods -- especially the longest period of 1350 years. This fit is done on a 500 year period of data.
The author then claims that since he can find four sinusoids which fit the data, that t|About the Author|I’m an engineer not a climatologist. So, I don’t profess to know what makes the climate tick, but I do know a lot about data analysis. And this book is all about an analysis of the global temperature data.
