Written from a personal perspective, the author rants on a bit about his problem with Enlightenment thinking, but it seems to fuel a lot of interesting angles on his subject. One of the most creatively conceived books I've encountered in academe.|About the Author|Paul Carter is professorial fellow of architecture, building, and planning at the University of Melbourne.
